In a faraway, magical land, two vastly different thieves are forced to work together when they are framed for the theft of an ancient jewel. Can they clear their names and recover the jewel in time to stop a civil war? This comic was all about experimentation for me. I inked the cover with a brush, but it took way too long (I'm not a patient person) and I didn't like the results, so the rest was done with pen, mostly a Copic Multiliner. I like how the Copic is just wet enough to make a smooth line without spreading. Also, it's nice for making fine, tapered lines. So, I've saved up all my commission at work and I'm going away on vacation for a week. Most likely, I will get sunburned on my first day and spend the rest of the week watching Everybody Loves Raymond in my hotel room, just like all my other vacations. Hopefully back home my boss will realize he can get along fine without me and fire me upon my return.
